Rossens, Switzerland – Magtrol SA has announced its new WB23 Powder Brake Dynamometer. The WB23 is able to measure low torque motors (up to 80 mN·m) at very high speeds (up to 100,000 rpm). The air bearing reaction torque measurement allows a high measuring accuracy of ± 1% full scale. The system integrates torque and speed measurements as well as convection air cooling. It can dissipate 300 Watts short term (3 minutes) or 120 Watts continuous. Connected to the DSP 6001 High Speed Programmable Controller, it can be used with Magtrol’s M-TEST 5.0 Motor Testing Software for easy configuration and data acquisition. A removable protection guard guarantees full safety during test.
Magtrol has also released the new 1WB23 Mega Speed Dynamometer dedicated to the testing of dental and surgical tools able to measure speeds up to 300,000 min-1, in a torque range of 5 to 50 mN·m. Both dynamometers complete Magtrol’s range of motor test solutions for high speed applications.
